On monday the 9th February on a very cold wet morning I arrived at BBC Radio Devon’s studio in Plymouth for my first live radio interview. The interview was with “Gordon Sparks”:http://www.bbc.co.uk/devon/content/articles/2005/09/29/gordon_sparks_radio_devon_feature.shtml who wakes up the city of Plymouth each weekday morning.

I have done a number of recorded interviews with Plymouth Sound but this was the first live interview. I have to admit I was feeling very nervous but also enormously excited. It was a fantastic experience and a fun way to tell listeners about the launch of my school outreach project and forth coming Baffin Island expedition.

A great experience and one I am looking forward to repeating this wednesday(18th) at 14.30 on BBC Radio Devon.
