It has been astonishing watching the arctic landscape change drastically in the last three years that I have been travelling there. This panorama was created by snow and ice, using mechanisms that have carved out stunning glaciated valleys and towering peaks over hundreds of thousands of years. Whilst these valleys have experienced many climatic changes in their history, it is the rate of change that is taking place here that has everyone worried, including the local Inuit people.

The past few days have been exceptionally busy after completing a very successful expedition right here at home, my coast to coast walk of Devon. The aim of the expedition was to walk and film the length of Devon, from the south coast to the north coast, along the way we would highlight issues of sustainable tourism and environmental projects on route, promoting what Devon has to offer.

PLYMOUTH polar explorer Antony Jinman has completed his toughest expedition yet by skiing 550km across Greenland’s ice cap. The expedition, which he completed as part of an international team, is his second polar adventure this year, having made a solo crossing of Baffin Island in March.
