True North celebrated in style on November 3 with its highly anticipated ‘Explore’ event. The double celebration was to mark a period of phenomenal growth over the past 12 months and the resulting move to amazing new offices in Haymarket. The views across an illuminated London on an obligingly clear night created a breathtaking backdrop to the event.

Clients enjoyed exotic canapés and drinks from around the world and a fascinating presentation from Arctic Explorer Anthony Jinman. Movers and shakers from leading businesses were able to network with each other and learn more about True North. Representatives from companies including Barclays, ITV, Betfair, Habitat, Sportingbet, Liberty, AES, Camelot and Mars heard True North Chief Executive Officer Norman Burden address the issues of human capital management, employer branding and recruitment and anticipated trends for 2010.

Director and one of the founder members of True North, Jo Dalton, offered thanks to all the support received and expressed how overwhelmed she was at the excellent attendance on the night. She went onto say the event was a great way to celebrate all the hard work through a difficult economic backdrop and was confident that True North would continue to punch above its weight in 2010.

True North now plans to make such events a regular feature on the social calendar each year, especially as they have further expansion plans for 2010 to build upon successes in the areas of talent acquisition, recruitment process outsourcing and consulting.
