It is with great pleasure to announce that I will be giving a one hour talk at the National Geographic Shop in London on the 30th June, it is a free evening and a great opportunity to come along and learn more about my Baffin Island expeditions and future projects. I am greatly honored to be the first speaker of a series of guest speakers giving accounts of their expeditions around the world.
After 3 years of visiting Baffin Island and 4 arctic expeditions, 2 of which have been solo trips with temperatures as low as -50’c Antony has built up an accurate account of what life is like for the Inuit people of Baffin Island. Through his expeditions he explains why, “The Land That Never Melts” is in fact melting and the implications that is having on the people there.
Ed Stafford who is currently walking the length of the Amazon will be the second speaker a week after me. He is still away on his epic undertaking but will conducting the talk through a satellite conference call.
This series of talks will be a fantastic way for people to learn about different locations around the world and provide thought provoking discussions. Go on get involved, it will be great to se you there and best of all its FREE!

“I am glad that you are promoting the reality of the situation in the North. For so long we have felt like victims to so many inaccurate informations that the south have been fed by the media.
Yes, seal hunting is and has been a way of life and survival in the north, without it we wouldn’t be here to tell you the story.”
