New Year and a New Office

The run up to the Christmas period was a very busy time indeed. December saw the finalization of my partnership with Plymouth University and the moving into new offices on the university campus. The University of Plymouth, ‘the’ enterprise university, is a dynamic and ambitious institution of which I am proud to have been given the opportunity to be a part.

My new office location is;

Room 301,
3rd floor Link Building,
University of Plymouth,
Drake Circus,
Plymouth. PL4 8AA

Keeping with the ethos of both Plymouth University and my own aims of delivering educational opportunities, my team has also grown. We are now a team of ten working hard on a number of exciting educational projects and expeditions. I am currently working with five students from the university offering them work experience, placements and volunteering opportunities delivering a first class experience to help further develop their cv’s and personal skills.

Last year was a very productive and exciting year. With thanks to Wendy Purcell and the University of Plymouth, 2010 looks set to be even more exciting. My sights are now set on 2012 and the anniversary of Captain Robert Falcon Scott who was born in Plymouth. 2012 is also the 150 year anniversary for the universities school of navigation and will prove to be a very important year for the city of Plymouth.
