To travel to a place and experience such environments first hand is so much more powerful than reading a textbook in a classroom. Earth is a classroom and life has many things to teach us. I believe that in our world you really can achieve whatever you wish from life, it may just take effort and determination to reach your goal.
*This belief makes up the core aim of Antony’s expeditions which support his vigorous public speaking and school outreach project.*

bq. We really enjoyed having Antony here to speak to us; he totally captivated the audience for the duration of his talk – not an easy task. It was an inspirational talk showing the endurance of the human spirit. We’d be glad to have Antony back to talk to us at anytime.

bq. The children were enthused from the outset, especially the quieter ones! They had so many questions. The concept of the sea being frozen, at times, was difficult to comprehend, considering we are a coastal school. The children were able to make many comparisons with their everyday life. As we do not have a vast amount of cultural diversity, and those contacts that we have tend to be with a hotter climate, this was an intriguing way to deal with this as well as all the environmental issues that arise.
